You may call us at 866-354-8333 or email us to set up an appointment to discuss your needs. We can talk with you on the phone, in our office, at the hospital or your home – whichever is most convenient for you. In most cases, our Administrator will evaluate your needs initially and explain how we can best serve you. Once you decide to move forward with our services, the Administrator will develop a customized care plan to meet the individualized daily needs of the client. This includes reviewing medical history and physician orders. At this time the Admin will also have you sign authorization forms to initiate care.
Insurance policies vary so much that we cannot say for certain which companies will cover our services. However, most Long Term Care policies do cover our services. Traditional health insurance policies are less predictable. However, we are happy to assist you in navigating through the insurance process to determine exactly what benefits you may be able to access.
Medicare and Medicaid do not typically cover the type of services we provide; therefore we are not Medicare or Medicaid providers. If you have Medicare or Medicaid and they do cover home healthcare services, it may be financially advantageous for you to select one of their authorized providers. Should you desire additional care above and beyond what Medicare or Medicaid is covering and/or it prevents or delays being admitted to the hospital or an extended care facility, private duty home healthcare may be able to assist you by having a nurse care for you in your home. We are pleased to work in conjunction with any current home healthcare/hospice providers or personal physicians to ensure all your needs are met.
Yes. We are service providers for https://www.aaapbtc.org/aging-network. To take advantage of this benefit, simply notify your case manager at the area agency on aging that you would like private duty home healthcare as your care provider. They will then notify us and we can initiate services.
The vast majority of our employees are introduced to us via referrals from our health care industry peers or our current staff. In order to gain employment with us, applicants must have experience providing patient care and also pass a level 2 background check, drug test, national sexual offender check, and department of motor vehicle record check. We check a minimum of 2 professional and personal references every time we consider hiring an applicant. Because we expect nothing short of excellence from our employees, we hand pick each and every individual that we invite to be part of the private duty home healthcare team.
The individual assuming responsibility for payment of services will sign our contract. Invoices are sent weekly by mail and payment should be returned to our office by mail or in person within 7 days. A deposit may be requested before starting services. Caregivers are not authorized to collect payment for services. We accept checks only. In the event you are only able to pay with a credit card, please contact our office to see if we can make special arrangements for you. If you have insurance, we will bill your insurance provider directly. If you are an area agency on aging clients, we will bill them directly, and therefore you will not receive a bill from us.
